Joseph DeBerry

Joseph F. DeBerry, 85, died Monday, August 13th, 2012 at the Missouri Veterans Home in St. Louis, MO, where he had resided for the last 13 months. He was born on May 3, 1927 in Terra Alta, WV, a son of the late Thomas and Frances (Shilling) DeBerry. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII and retired from the A & P Co. in 1986. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Weeks DeBerry; a son, Mark DeBerry and wife Marcia of Florissant, MO; and daughters, Donna JoDoin of VA and Anna Lea DeBerry of Rachel, WV; 8 granddaughters; 1 grandson; 4 great-granddaughters; and 2 great-grandsons. A funeral service was held at Hutchinson Mortuary in Florissant, MO on Thursday, August 16th. A graveside service is being held on Saturday, August 18th at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Oakland at 11:00 AM with Burdock- Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland in charge of arrangements.
