John T. Butts, 79 of Gormania, WV died Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital.
Born December 19, 1930 in Gorman, MD he was the son of the late Roy J. and Daisy K. (Vann) Butts.
Mr. Butts retired from the lumber and coal industry. He was Protestant by faith.
Surviving are two sisters, Viola Knotts of Oakland, MD and formerly of Gormania, WV and Frances Cosner of Bayard, WV; several nieces & nephews; great nieces & nephews; and great great nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends at David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland, MD on Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2010 in the funeral home chapel. The interment will follow in Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
