John Jefferson "Jeff" Burch II, 67 of McHenry, MD, formerly of Annapolis, MD died Monday, May 17, 2010 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital.
Born April 9, 1943 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late William Jefferson and Luverna J. (Hoyle) Burch.
Mr. Burch worked as an Electronic Technician for Hughes Network Systems and was a beloved husband, father & grandfather.
Surviving are his wife Teresa (Miller) Burch; one son, John Jefferson Burch III of Columbia, MD; one daughter Jennifer Burch Dempsey of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, Benjamin, Rebecca & Stephanie Burch, Jack & Sam Dempsey.
The family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland, MD on Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon.
Funeral services are 12 noon on Thursday, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Harmon "Mel" Menker officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of memorial donations, in his name, to the American Heart Association.
