JoAnn Frazee, 70, of Oakland, died on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Born on August 1, 1954, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Collas and Virginia (Cummings) Jones.
JoAnn was a graduate of Aurora High School and attended the White Church United Methodist Church. She was a very loving, caring, and thoughtful woman. She worked for Bausch & Lomb until the company closed;then working for Garrett Regional Medical Center as a CNA until retirement. After retirement, she continued to work with her husband on the family farm, raising and selling cattle. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, hunting, camping, crafting, farming and picnics. She loved spending time with her family.
JoAnn is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard Frazee; her son, Bryan Frazee and wife Khristine; grandchildren, Deven Frazee, Nikole Frazee, and Nataley Bittinger; her sisters, Elizabeth Johnson of New Oxford, PA, Donna Bissett of Citrus Springs, FL, and Joan Nice of Oakland; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Jones.
JoAnn's request for cremation was honored. Friends will be received on Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 2 to 4 PM at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland. A celebration of life will be held at 4 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Wally Weeks officiating.
