Jesse Judy

Jesse Troy Judy, age 93 of Eglon, WV went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2018. He was the son of the late Zebulon M. and Mary E. (Harman) Judy. He was born near Harman, WV on September 11, 1924.Troy was a life time member of the Brethren Church, Baptized on July 14,1938 in the Dry Fork River. He was employed as a truck driver for many years, logging over three million miles. Troy was a member of the Thomas-Fairfax Masonic Lodge 174, a member of the Scottish Rite of Cumberland MD, and a lifetime member of the NRA. Troy is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruby C. (Feather) Judy. Also surviving are a daughter, Marilyn Schmidt and husband Bradley, a son, Barry Judy, grandchildren, Kaitlyn Beeson and husband, Nick, Jesse Schalker, Edwin, Alivia and Ellie Judy, a sister, Mary Ann Beckett and husband, Mark, and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Myron T. Judy, a grandson Bryan T. Judy, and daughter in law Susan Judy, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Family and friends may call at Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis WV on Friday Jan 12 from 2-8 pm and on Sat Jan 13 from 10-11 am at the Maple Springs Church of the Brethren in Eglon, followed by the funeral service at 11am with Pastors Debbie Strawser and Mark Teets. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the Maple Springs Church of the Brethren general fund.
