Jerry Cummings

He was born February 2, 1938 at Pierce, WV a son of the late Lawrence Mervin Cummings and Virdella Catherine Dewalt Cummings. Also preceding him in death were 2 brothers, Lawrence David and Daniel Galen, and 1 sister, Marian Jane Kimble.

He is survived by 1, brother, Terry Lynn (Sharon) Cummings, Phoenix, AZ., 2, sisters, Donna Jean Markley, Thomas, WV and Carol M. (Bobby) Helmick, Damascus, MD. Jerry loved to hunt and fish; he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirate fan.

Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home, Davis, WV Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.  Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 10, at 11:00 AM at Hinkle Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Callaway officiating.  Interment to follow in Nethken Hill Cemetery in Elk Garden. In lieu of flowers donations  can be made to "Friends of Cortland Acres"
