Jeanie (Miller) Burdock, 71 of Petersburg, WV, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Grant Memorial Hospital.
Born February 9, 1939 in Berkeley Springs, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lester A. & May (Shillingburg) Parks.
Jeanie was a Methodist by faith. Graduating from Bayard High School in 1957.She had been employed at Baush and Lomb in Oakland, MD for 16 years, retired due to failing health.
Surviving are: son-Jeffery Alan Burdock and wife Sandy, Horse Shoe Run, WV; daughter, Connie Michele Barb and husband, Matt, Petersburg, WV; grandchildren, Christina Grey and husband Jason and sons Derrik and Brayden, Elkins, WV; Randy Burdock and Shayna and daughter Nevaeh of Parsons, WV., Elisha Jean Knott and fiance' Dwayne Nalls, Winchester, VA, Brandon Walker Barb, Petersburg, WV; and close friends Nancy, Francess, Pat White and cat Piere' and dog Ciera.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or funeral service. Interment will be in the Mt. Storm Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Diabetic Foundation.
