Janice Elizabeth Fife, 78 of Mt. Lake Park, MD passed away at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Friday, September 3, 2010.
Born January 1, 1932 in Swanton, MD, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Friend and Clara P. (Comp) Friend. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fife.
Janice was a homemaker and member of Loch Lynn Church of God.
Surviving are: daughter, Robin L. Fife, Mt. Lake Park, MD, sister Evelyn Yost, Baltimore, MD, several nieces and nephews, special friends, Alice Liller, Terry Garlitz and Linda Phares.
Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second Street, Oakland, MD on Monday, September 6, 2010, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Skipper and Rev. Ivan Ackerman officiating. Interment will be Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
