Janet J. Jones, 80, of Loch Lynn Heights died on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on June 5, 1932 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Haven and Luella Gertrude (Davie) Cosner. She worked for Bausch & Lomb for over 26 years and, while she was there, made many friends like Mona and Reva. She had been a resident of Loch Lynn since 1987 and enjoyed spending time outside in her yard, feeding the humming birds and tending to her rose bushes. She is survived by four children, Mark T. Best and wife Charlotte, Bruce L. Best, Charlotte E. Watson and Larry Whetzel; a number of grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Rex Cosner and companion Cindy, Eddy Cosner and Robert Cosner; and sisters, Maxine Ours, Irene Hawk and husband Jake and Loretta Fishel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria "Sue" Cosner. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Saturday, February 9th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 10th at 1 PM in the Mt. Storm Presbyterian Church with Rev. Joan Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Idleman Cemetery, Mt. Storm.
