Jamie Rexrode

Jamie Dale Rexrode, 47, of Oakland, MD, passed away on September 28, 2022, at Garrett Regional Medical Center. Born on January 14, 1975, in Oakland, MD, he was the son of the surviving James "Jim" H. and Mildred "Millie" C. (Cosner) Rexrode.

Jamie was a graduate of Southern High School. He served our country in the United States Army. After his service, he worked as a laborer unloading and loading equipment for a metal plant in Winston Salem, NC. He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church. He was an avid NASCAR fan and Jeff Gordon was his driver. Jamie enjoyed country music, especially Conway Twitty and George Jones, he cherished the times of playing cards with his brothers, the thrill of scratch off tickets and going hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by five brothers, James Edward Soult, Mark Henry Cosner, Michael Eugene Rexrode, Henry Jackson Rexrode and Melvin Ray Rexrode; along with aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces.

Friends will be received Monday, October 3, 2022, from 4 to 6 PM at C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St. Oakland, MD 21550. A funeral service with military honors will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Leatherman officiating. There will be no graveside services. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Rexrode family at this time.
