James Harold Weeks, Jr., 49 of Swanton, MD, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Garrett Memorial Hospital as a result of injuries occurring from an automobile accident.
Born December 27, 1960 in Oakland, MD, he was the son of the late James H. and Lula P. (Upole) Weeks, Sr.
James is survived by two daughters, Jamie Perry, Winchester, Va., Angie Weeks, Horseshoe Run, WV, one brother, John Weeks, VA, four sisters, Roxenn Gank and Vickie DeWitt, both of Oakland, Naomi DeWitt, Swanton, Tena Wolf, Baltimore, MD and two grandchildren Alyssa and Taylor Perry.
Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd Street, Oakland, MD, Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 4-8 p.m.
Services will be conducted at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 8931 Garrett Highway, Oakland, MD, Monday, October 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Wally Weeks officiating.
Interment will in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
