James Junkins

James Clifford Junkins, 80 of Oakland, MD, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Western Maryland Health System Frostburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born April 28, 1930 in Clarksburg, WV. James was the son of the late Garland and Lola (Hawk) Junkins. He is survived by his wife, Doris (Whitacre) Junkins.
James was a veteran serving with the United States Army in the Korea War. He was a retired mechanic having worked for Ray Teets Garage.
Also surviving are: son, Dan Junkins and wife, Diana, Oakland, MD, daughters, Sandy Thomas and husband Earl and Debora Coddington and husband Robert, all of Oakland, one sister, Hazel Patala, Chicago, IL, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Church Street, Kitzmiller, MD, Friday, October 8, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home chapel, Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Angie Cosner and Matthew Paugh officiating.
Interment will be in the Deer Park Cemetery.
