James E. “Jim” Goodall, Sr., 80, of Oakland, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at home. Born on September 19, 1938, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of late Andrew Goodall and Florence Savarese and was an honorably discharged veteran having served in the United States Navy. Jim had a full and cherished life. He was a vibrant person and made a huge impact on so many lives. He enjoyed working with wood and could turn tossed out trash into valuable treasures. He loved gardening and was a huge Ravens fan. His last words the morning of his passing as he woke Lucy by tickling her leg were I love you. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Frances A. “Lucy” Goodall; a son, James E. Goodall, Jr. and wife of Shelly Indianapolis, IN; daughters, Debbie Goodall of FL, Sherrie Hart and husband Bob of Indianapolis, IN, Patty Keefer and husband Ray of Oakland, Marie Holmes husband Mike of Oakland; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; siblings, Dolores, Diane, Beatrice and Andy; Bobby & Tammy, Chuck & Sue Jones and many other loving nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 North 2nd Street, Oakland on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 3 to 7 PM.
