James Belowsky

James P. Belowsky, Sr., of Swanton, MD died on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Born on November 10, 1952 in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of Helen (Perkins) Belowsky and the late Frederick J. Belowsky. He was a self-employed excavator for 35 years and loved to fish and hunt. He grew up in Marlboro, NJ, then moved to Howell, NJ and finally settled in Swanton, MD. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 34 years, Patricia E. (Bresser) Belowsky; a son, James P. Belowsky, Jr. and wife Debi; a grandson, Ryan J. Belowsky; a granddaughter, Kaitlin Belowsky; two brothers, Frederick Jr. and Robert Belowsky; and one sister, Lillian "Cookie" Starkey. A memorial service will be held on a later date in New Jersey. The Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is assisting the family with arrangements.
