James Adams

James Daniel Adams, 65, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 18th 2021, in Aurora, WV.  He was born in Oakland, MD on December 23rd 1955, to the late Jack Teets Adams and Doris Eugenia (Sanders) Adams.

“Bubba” was a self-employed truck driver who loved his job; earning respect and gaining many friends who he met along the way.  He loved spending time taking care of his land and fishing, but most of all, being with his wife and family.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his “little bundle of joy” Judith Ann (Caldwell) Adams, whom he married on August 14th1982.  Also surviving is one daughter, Lisa Sisler and husband Jon of Luray, VA; three brothers, Jack Adams and wife Phyllis, Charlie Adams and wife Julie and Pat Adams and wife Lori; two sisters, Judy Paugh and husband Ron and Janie Tichnell and husband Fred; he was a loving Paw to Kayla McKenna and husband David, Chad Sisler, Briana Sisler and fiancée Jason Bautista; and was a loving Paw-Paw to Kynslee McKenna, Dannen Sisler and Kennedy McKenna.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Aurora Volunteer Rescue Squad or the Aurora Fire Dept.

A memorial service in celebration of his life will take place on July 24th 2021 at 4:00PM at Danny and Judy’s residence.  Hinkle-Fenner funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Adams family.
