Jacqueline R. Swift, 67 of Oakland, MD died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Oakland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born September 24, 1942 in Sandy Springs, MD, she was the daughter of Virginia (Bowman) Rice of Oakland and the late Harold "Bud" Rice, Jr.
Surviving in addition to her mother, are her husband Bruce T. Swift of Oakland; one son Bruce Swift, Jr of Oakland; one daughter Bobbi Duckers of Toms River, NJ; one sister, Joyce Ann Jones of Deep Creek Lake; 5 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland, MD on Friday, January 22, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services are 12 noon, Saturday, January 23, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jennifer John-Goodings officiating. Interment will be in Garrett Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may take the form of contributions, in her name, to the American Cancer Society.
