Izetta Lewis

Izetta Sue Lewis, 69, of Oakland died on Monday, October 5, 2015 in hospice care at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on July 27, 1946 in Bayard, WV, she was a daughter of the late Charles Fredrick and Clarice Lucille (Willis) Layman. She was a homemaker and will be remembered by all as a good person who loved her family dearly. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Russell R. Lewis; a daughter, Lori Pyska and husband Michael of Lusby, MD; one grandson, Ryan Pyska; two sisters, Sharon Horstmann and husband Harold of Lohman, MO and Ann Moreland and husband John of Mt. Storm, WV; five brothers, Bob Layman and wife Sue of Richland, MO, Mose Layman and wife Robin of Bayard, WV, Dick Layman and wife Sue of Gormania, WV, Randy Layman of Bayard, WV and Stanley Layman of Gormania, WV; numerous nieces and nephews; uncle, Sheridan Layman of Aurora, WV; and a sister in law, Rosemary Steadman and husband Larry of Gorman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Jean Layman; a brother, Carl Fredrick Layman; and mother in law, Helen Lewis. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Thursday, October 8th from 2 to 5 PM and on Friday, October 9th from 10 to 11 AM after which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Donald Matthews officiating. Interment will follow in the Bayard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
