Irene Carrie Miller, 103 of Oakland, MD passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home.
Born September 28, 1907 in Swanton, MD, she was the daughter of the late William W. and Cora Alice (Colmer) Basley. Irene was also preceded in death by her husband Harvey Miller and daughter Mary Ann Miller.
She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Red House and a homemaker who loved to make rugs..
Surviving are: Robert Baker, nephew of Oakland, nieces, Virginia Cummings of Oakland and Evelyn Nazelrodt of Martinsburg, WV and several other nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd Street, Oakland, Maryland, Friday, October 1, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be Saturday October 2, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John Skipper officiating.
Interment will be in the St. Johns Cemetery.
