Inez Sanders

Inez Marie (Callis) Sanders, 96, of Oakland, MD, died Friday, January 6, 2012 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital. Born August 1, 1915 in Loch Lynn, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Celia (Sturm) Callis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey W. Sanders in 2009 and a great grandson, Lucas Sanders. Inez was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Inez was a homemaker and enjoyed her family. She is survived by a son, Harley G. Sanders, Waynesboro, PA; a daughter, Phyllis M. Teets & husband Bill of Terra Alta, WV; one grandson, Jeremy Sanders & wife Jennifer of Stephens City Va.; Jeremy's mother, Mrs. Rebecca Sanders of Oakland and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Sunday from noon to 4 PM at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St, Oakland, MD where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday with Rev. Jennifer Johns-Gooding officiating. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
