H. Eugene "Palsy" Harman, 69, of Oakland died on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland. Born on May 22, 1952, in Accident, he was the son of Emma Jean Harman of Oakland and the late Rev. Harold Roy Harman.
Eugene "Palsy" was well known for his incredible work ethic, his contagious laughter and his never ending love and zest for life. He loved his family deeply and he thoroughly enjoyed his truck driving career.
He will always be remembered as a man you could count on in any situation, the man who always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He never had a harsh word to say about anyone and he was loved by all.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife. Karla (Haines) Harman; three daughters, Stephanie Harman of Oakland, Cambria Sisler of Oakland, and Brittany Harman of Romney, WV; one son, Blake Harman of Grantsville and his girlfriend Bailey Burdock; two granddaughters, Reeslyn Sisler of Oakland and Ryah Boyd of Romney; a sister, Janet White of Oakland; a brother, Brian Harman of Oakland, nephews, Matthew White and Tyler Harman; and many friends too numerous to count.
Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, September 10, 2021, at 10 AM with Lisa Fields officiating.
Interment will follow in the Sand Spring Cemetery, Friendsville.
