Herbert Mallow

Herbert Clark Mallow, 83, passed away peacefully December 12, 2012 at his home in Mabie, WV.

He was born July 28, 1929 in Red Creek, WV a son of the late Jasper and Lena Bennett Mallow. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kathleen Teter Mallow. He is also survived by 1 son, Herbert Clark Mallow II of Mabie,WV, 8 daughters, Wenona (Rodney) Teter of Red Creek, WV, Audrey (Earl) Niznik of Orwell, OH,  Brenda (Greg) Cooper of Harman, WV, Donna (Robert) Judy of Harman, WV, Amy (Paul) Vandevender of Kerens, WV, Trudy (Leon) Sponaugle of Dryfork, WV, Tina (Robert) Chewning of Belington, WV, Jessica (Andy) Pastine of Mabie, WV, 1 sister, Velma Ritchie of Painesville, OH, 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceding him in death were 5 brothers, Hank Mallow, Gerald Mallow, Roy Mallow, Forest Mallow, and Keith Mallow, and 4 sisters, Hazel Simmons, Myrtle Bible, Elma Haddix, and Opal Davis.

Mr. Mallow was a Protestant by faith. He was a carpenter by trade, owner of Herb Mallow Builders. He was also an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home Saturday December 15, 2012 from 11-2 PM. A private memorial service for the family will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Eli Hostetler officiating.
