Henry Kifer

Henry Allen Kifer, 52, of Swanton died on Friday, June 22, 2012 at his home. Born on October 9, 1959 in Keyser, WV, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Grace Alberta (Oates) Kifer. He worked as a fireman for C. Palmer Die Casting in Oakland and attended the Walnut Bottom Church. In addition to spending time with his family, Henry had a great love of hunting. He is survived by his wife Rhonda (Brown) Kifer; three children, Henry Kifer, Jr., Lisa Kifer, and Matthew Kifer; one granddaughter, Layna Kifer; five sisters, Donna Marie Collins, Betty Lou Otto, Ruby Ann Donham, Patricia Tichinel, and Connie Francis Sliger; and two brothers, Charles E. Kifer and Roger W. Kifer. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Sunday, June 24th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, June 25th at 11 AM with the Rev. George H. Tichinel officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family would like to thank Judy Esenwein for all of her support and help over the past few weeks.
