Helen Irene Lewis 92 of Oakland, MD, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home.
Born May 7, 1919 in Henry, WV, she was the daughter of the late James & Verlinda (Arnold) Lipscomb and was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell.
Helen was a homemaker.
Surviving are: daughter-Rosemary Steadman & husband, Larry; son-Rodney Lewis & wife Sue, all of Oakland, MD; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and two step-grandchildren.
Family & friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St, Oakland, MD, Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 3-6 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December, 16, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Don Matthews officiating.
Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
