Hazel Spangler

Hazel Mildred Spangler, 90 of Swanton, MD, formerly of Pasadena, MD, died Friday January 22, 2010 at her residence.
Born January 17, 1920 in Gloucester, NJ, she was the daughter of the late David W. and Emily (Trueland) Brand. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, James D. McKeon, John W. Tracey, Thomas D. Spangler; by her son, David J. McKeon and by her daughter, Virginia L. Athas.
Mrs. Spangler was a Homemaker and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Anne Arundel County.
Surviving are two sons, John E. Tracey of Baltimore, Carl W. Tracey of Bozeman, Montana; two daughters, Dorothy M. Gover of Swanton, Cynthia A. Mathias of Pasadena; 5 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
At Mrs. Spangler's request, her body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland, MD was in charge of the arrangements.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of memorial donations, in her name to a charity of one's choice.
