Harry Simmons

Harry Allen Simmons, 67, of Thomas, West Virginia died on September 16, 2018 at his home. He was born March 10, 1951 in Thomas, West Virginia a son of the late James William Simmons and Irene Francis O'Hara. He is survived by two brothers, Frank Simmons and wife Shirley of Thomas, West Virginia and Marcus Simmons of Parsons, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by one brother, James Simmons.

Mr. Simmons served in the United States Army. He worked in the coal industry as a coal miner. He was a member of the Mt. Top Hunt Club. Harry loved watching sports and his favorite team was WVU.

Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home, Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, the funeral hour, with Rev. Jay Bunting officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
