Harold Stewart

Harold F. "Bus" Stewart, 85, of Elk Garden, WV died on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Cortland Acres Nursing Home in Thomas, WV. Born on February 8, 1928 in Tunnelton, WV, he was the son of the late George and Gladys June (Lyons) Stewart. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and had worked as a coal miner. He is survived by a son, Donald Stewart and wife Jane of Elk Garden; a daughter, Sandra Kay Stewart of Alexandria, VA; two grandchildren, Marshall Stewart and Louie Stewart; three great grandchildren, Matthew Stewart, Jordan Stewart and Lacy Cottrell; a brother, Bobby L. Stewart of Kitzmiller; and a sister, Margaret Sims of Kitzmiller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine (Lucas) Stewart in 1984 and a sister, Betty McCloud. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller, on Friday, March 8th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, March 9th at 11 AM with Rev. Lee Robertson officiating.
