Harold G. Gank, 84, of Oakland died on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown. Born on June 28, 1928 in Hutton, he was the son of the late Gilbert H. and Helen (Durst) Gank. He was the owner of Hutton Auto Garage. He is survived by two daughters, G. Diane Sereno and husband Tom of Oakland and Melody S. Miller and fiancAC. Mark Hilliard of Oakland; one son, Jeffrey L. Gank and wife Debbie of Oakland; five grandchildren, Tracy Carleton, Misty Sereno, Kellie Gorrell, Jeffrey Gank and Dustin Miller; two great-grandchildren, Felicity and Bryceien Gorrell; two sisters, Ilene Veasel of Ellicot City and Juanita Dickerson of Springdale, AR; a niece and nephew whom he raised, Rebecca Shahan and Wayne Gank, both of Oakland; and a very special English Bulldog, Rebel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, G. Deloris (Bowser) Gank; a daughter, Pamela D. Gank; and a brother, Dale Gank. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Thursday, January 24th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 25th at 11 AM in the old Loch Lynn Church of God with Rev. John Skipper officiating. Interment will follow in Garrett County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Garrett County Humane Society, PO Box 115, Oakland, MD 21550.
