Gypsy Bonnie (Brady) Lane, 100, of Loch Lynn, died Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home of Grantsville. She was born June 29, 1912 in Newport, TN the daughter of the late Rubin Carter and Nannie (Fowler) Brady. Gypsy had a passion for gardening and loved crocheting and quilting. She also enjoyed listening to music. She is survived by seven children, Nancy K. Dove of Camden, SC; Julia Knox of Loch Lynn; Kenneth Lane and wife Wanda of Hagerstown; D.F. Lane and wife Geri of Marietta, GA; James P. Lane of Omaha, NE; Wesley B. Lane and wife Jackie of Port Ritchie, FL; Glenn Lane and wife Carolyn of Bridgeman, MI; her youngest brother, William Brady of Morristown, TN; thirteen grandchildren, Janice Caldwell, Brenda Dunham, Kenneth Lane, Leighann O'Shea, Lynette Stoutenburg, Jamie Lane, Becky Lane, Bradley Lane, Stephen Knox, Deborah Thompson, Jonathan Lane, Andrew Lane and Rachel Dudok; twenty-two great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James Glen Lane in 1995; a daughter, Mary R. Lane in 2009; a son, Welton Lane in 1996; a granddaughter, Bonnie Dove; four sisters and four brothers. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Monday, November 12th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, November 13th at 11 AM with Rev. Roland E. Nairn officiating. Interment will follow in Garrett County Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff at Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home for the wonderful care given to Gypsy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home General Fund 891 Dorsey Hotel Rd. Grantsville, MD 21536
