Grace Lee

Grace Lee, 56 of Swanton was received by her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Monongalia General Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

Grace was born on December 13, 1953 in Parson, WV and she was the daughter of the late Clarence R. Bolinger, Sr. and the late Catherine J. Huffman Bolinger. She is survived by her husband, Carl W. Lee of Swanton, and her children, Jeffrey A. Cole and Lisa A. Cole, both of Eglon, WV.

Also surviving are siblings: Betty J. Hebb of Minerva, Ohio; Virginia M. Carr and husband Lowell of Hendricks, WV; Clarence R. Bolinger, Jr. and wife Donna of Hendricks, WV; Lakin L. Bolinger and wife Slona of Parsons, WV; Flodie L. Lawrence of Hendricks, WV; Sandra K. Pennington and husband Larry of Hendricks, WV; Richard A. Bolinger and wife Willetta of Parsons, WV; Ruby J. McCrum and husband Mike of Parsons, WV; and Mary F. Booth and husband Daniel of Hambleton, WV.

Grace was employed by Bausch and Lomb until the company relocated. Most recently, until her illness, she was employed by Walmart, Inc. in Oakland.

Grace was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Swanton where she had been a Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir.

Grace will be sadly missed. She enjoyed life, her husband and family, her friends, and her "Little Oscar".

Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland, MD on Wednesday, August 25th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Swanton on Thursday, August 26th at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Angie Cosner and Rev. Ross Glotfelty officiating. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
