Geraldine Paugh

Geraldine V. (Kitzmiller) Paugh, 91, of Oakland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 10, 2017 while surrounded by her family.  Born on January 25, 1926 in Mount Storm, she is the daughter of the late Earl and Alice (Hanlin) Kitzmiller.  Geraldine was a retired dietician aide with Garrett County Memorial Hospital.  She was a member of the Loch Lynn Church of God.  Geraldine was a very strong woman who raised her family on her own.  She had a great sense of humor.  She enjoyed camping , traveling the world to visit her family and cooking for family gatherings at her home.   In her later years, she enjoyed word puzzles.  Geraldine was a wonderful mother.  Geraldine is survived by her three children, Keith Paugh, Nina Kovach and husband Ed and Ron Paugh, all of Oakland; grandchildren, Reuben Paugh, special grandson, Jesse Kovach and Sophia Lloyd, all of Oakland, Dusty Destaulo and Crystal Barton of MO; great grandchildren, Cree and Elianna Lloyd of Oakland; six great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Cindy Warsaw of Oakland.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Paugh; and two brothers, Eugene and Bill Kitzmiller.  Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM with David and Ruth Davis officiating.  At Geraldine's request, she will be cremated and her remains will be laid to rest in Garrett County Memorial Gardens at a later date.
