Georgiana (Baker) Sines, 77, of Oakland, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Born on November 6, 1941 in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Dorothy O. (McCrobie) Baker. Georgiana was a homemaker who was a caring and loving mother.  She loved art and enjoyed painting.  She spent her whole life seeking God.  Georgiana is survived by two sons, Melvyn D. Sines, II and wife Rebecca of Oakland, James A. Sines and fiancée Tammy J. Ashby of Oakland; grandchildren, Jordyn E. Sines of Oakland, Cory J. Sines and Valerie of Cresaptown, Trista D. Sines and Ryan of Pittsburgh; great-grandchild, Kamren Sines; siblings, Darrell W. Baker and wife June of Cedarville, IL, Ronald P. Baker of Grayson, KY, Barbara A. Myers and husband Chuck of Oakland, Richard E. Baker and wife Glenda of North Port, FL, Linda J. Belasco of Oakland, Janet K. Beckman of Cumberland, Patricia L. Crouse of Hartley, DE; several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Georgiana was preceded in death by four siblings, Norma J. Harper, Roger L. Baker, Douglas A. Baker and an infant sister, Donna L. Baker.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11 AM in the Oakland Cemetery with Minister Donald Stull officiating.  The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is assisting the family with arrangements.
