George Rohrbaugh

George Forest Rohrbaugh, 87, of Oakland died on Friday, November 8, 2013 in Augusta, GA while visiting his son. Born on July 3, 1925 in Jordan Run, WV, he was the son of the late Arnold and Ollie (Burg) Rohrbaugh. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. He is survived by his children, James Rohrbaugh and wife Sharon, George Rohrbaugh and wife Connie, Pamela Pingley and husband William and Donna Cooper and husband Jeffrey; grandchildren, Robin, Adam, Mendi, Darrion, Heather, Becky, Christy and David; and a number of great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Rohrbaugh, 2001. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, MD on Tuesday, November 12th from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Lewis Beachy officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
