George Meadows

George Washington Meadows, Jr., 52, of Paw Paw, WV died on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at his home. Born on July 3, 1962 in Winchester, VA, he was the son of George Washington Meadows, Sr. of Slanesville, WV and the late Josie Mae (Lipscomb) Meadows. In addition to spending time with his family, George enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay (Shell) Meadows; a daughter, Renee Dawn Meadows; two stepsons, Roy Lee Shell and Ripley Edward Andrews; three grandchildren, Ripley Joseph Andrews, Ava Shell and Quentin Shell; two sisters, Brenda Campbell of Slanesville and Patsy McFarlane of Oklahoma; a brother, Clem Meadows of Winchester, VA; and other special family members, Ollie Miller and Molly Armel. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Pierce. A funeral service will be held in the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Monday, December 15th at 11 AM Pastor Tom McGinnis officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
