George Truman "Bill" Junkins, 83 of Kitzmiller, MD died Friday, August 27, 2010 at his residence.
Born February 25, 1927 in Emoryville, WV, he was the son of the late Truman and Edna (Harding) Junkins.
Bill was a retired Coal Miner; he proudly served his country as a Army Veteran of WWII.
Surviving are his wife Nellie (Paugh) Junkins of Kitzmiller and one sister, Lorraine Elliott of Kitzmiller.
The family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller, Md on Sunday, August 29, 2010 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Lee Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Kalbaugh Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
