Gary Upole

Gary Wayne Upole, 58, of Oakland died on Friday, December 25, 2015 at the Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home. Born on June 6, 1957, he was the son of Nancy (Riggleman) Upole of Oakland and the late Woodrow P. Upole, Sr. He worked for Bausch & Lomb from the 1970's until the plant closed. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Shirley Upole and husband David Mountain of Oakland; two nieces, Amanda Upole and Natalie Upole; and three nephews, David, Denny and Dean Broadwater. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Woodrow P. Upole, Jr. on September 29, 2013. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Monday, December 28th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, December 29th at 12 PM with Pastor Joe Tichinel officiating. Interment will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
