Gary Mumford

Gary "G" Mumford, 65, of Middletown, died on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. Born on February 26, 1958, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Edward C. and Mildred (Scott) Mumford.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Tricia "Chuck" (Foster) Mumford; his daughter, Connie Minear and husband Jimmy; grandchildren, Carson, Parker, and Hunter, who he adored; his "outlaws" who were like siblings, Anne (Foster) Seek, Danny Foster, Timmy Foster, Kevin Foster, Michael Foster, Pat Foster, and Kathleen (Foster) Fominaya; and 48 nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved with all his heart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Scott Mumford in 2020.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11 AM with Jon Zeigler officiating. Interment will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
