Freda Lee

Freda Joan Lee, 77, of Swanton, MD, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 at her home in Swanton. Born July 18, 1934 in Deer Park, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Hazel (Kerns) Hinebaugh. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John L. Lee; son, John R. Lee and daughter-in-law, Grace A. Lee. Freda was a homemaker and mother with a big heart and lots of love for everyone. She enjoyed her family and, later on in life, going to bingo or the casinos with sisters, brothers, sister-in-law, Marj and close friends. She is survived by a daughter, Robin Norton & husband Terry of Summerville, SC; sons, Jim Lee & wife Brenda of St. Mary's, GA, Ron Lee & wife Elaine of St. Mary's, GA, Carl Lee, Randy Lee, both of Swanton and Scott Hinebaugh of Summerville, SC; sisters, Jean Kady of Keyser, WV, Peggy Nine of Oakland and Wanda Greene of Deer Park; brothers, Fred Hinebaugh of Morgantown, WV and Sonny Hinebaugh of Keyser, WV; grandchildren, Nicole Branyon and husband Cal, Elizabeth Rentz and husband Jeremy, Dazzle Hinebaugh, Casey Jones and husband Ryan, Jessica Hinebaugh, Ashley Baker, Gina Norton, Cheryl Norton, Chad Lee and wife Heather, John R. Lee, Jr. and wife Leslie, Shannon Lee and wife Denise; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller, MD on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Swanton, MD, on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Angie Cosner officiating. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
