Franklin Moats

Franklin D. Moats, 56, of Oakland died on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on July 29, 1956 in Oakland, he was the son of the late Delmer Franklin and Dorothy Katherine Moats. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl A. Moats of Oakland; a son, Delmer Moats and wife Kristen of Oakland; three daughters, Cynthia Hale and boyfriend Doug of Colorado Springs, CO, Helena Moats and boyfriend Jason of Swanton and Martha Green and husband William of Oakland; six grandchildren, Jason, Seth, Savannah, Leann, Elizabeth and Avigail; two sisters, Delia Dice of PA and Nancy Marple of Piedmont, WV; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St., Oakland on Friday, March 1st from 2 to 4 PM at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Rotha Hall officiating. Interment will be in Aurora Cemetery.
