Franklin Knox

Franklin James "Jamie" Knox, 59, of Martinsburg, WV, and formerly of Oakland died on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at his home. Born on May 7, 1962, in Oakland, he was the son of the late Franklin N. and Geraldine (Rowan) Knox.
Jamie was a truck driver for most of his life and had worked for Naylor's Hardware while living in Oakland.
He is survived by two sons, Shane Knox and fiancee Courtney Berry of Martinsburg and Sean Knox and girlfriend Kacie Ryan of Raleigh, NC; his aunt, Joyce Andrews; and a number of cousins.
Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 4 to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 10 AM with Rev. Dr. Matthew Paugh officiating.
Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Oakland.
