Frances Steyer

Frances Lorraine Steyer, 89, of Oakland died on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Windy Hill Village in Kingwood, WV. Born on June 22, 1925 in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Opal (Shillingburg) Steyer. She was an elementary school teacher in Preston County, West Virginia for many years and also enjoyed raising sheep. She is survived by two nephews, David "Craig" Riley and Roger Riley, as well as a number of cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Riley. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Wednesday, April 29th from 11 AM to 1 PM after which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Barbara K. Rexroad officiating. Interment will follow in the White Church Cemetery.
