Frances Lucas-Hanlin

Frances Elizabeth Lucas-Hanlin, 87, of Kitzmiller died on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home in Oakland. Born on September 17, 1926 in Potomac Manor, WV, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Marguerite (Wilson) Wilson. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Betty J. Anderson and husband Ronald of Elk Garden, WV; a son, Ralph A. Lucas and wife Barbara of Kitzmiller; five grandchildren, Ralph A. Lucas, Jr. and wife Patricia, Kimberly Moon and husband Albert, James S. Lucas and wife Susan, Heather Berg and husband Randall and Richelle Evans and husband Michael; twelve great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren and one on the way. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Lucas, in 1983 and her second husband, Lawrence Hanlin, in 2006; and a grandson, Guy Lucas. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Wednesday, April 23rd from 4 to 8 PM and on Thursday, April 24th from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Matthew A. Paugh and Pastor John Friend officiating. Interment will follow in the Kalbaugh Cemetery, Elk Garden, WV.
