Faye R. King, 83, of Oakland died on Friday, October 19, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. Born on February 7, 1929 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late David and Lucinda (Wilson) Johnson. She enjoyed flower gardening and time with her family. She is survived by two children, Harry Ernest King and wife Melody and David William King and wife Cathy, all of Oakland; grandchildren, John Ernest King and wife Stephanie, Daniel Zane King and wife Myree, Michael David King, Philip Brian King, Elizabeth Kathryn King and Timothy Edward King; great grandchildren, Alicia, Trevor, Damieann, Tylor, and Zane; and siblings, Wilbur Upperman and wife Lorene of Oakland and Lola Jones and husband Johnny of Danville, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Herbert King, in 1990 and a sister, Mona Hebb. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Saturday, October 20th from 3 to 4 PM at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Jay Geisler officiating. Private interment will be in Deer Park Cemetery.
