Evidene Swauger

Evidene (Spinks) Swauger, 77, of McHenry died on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Garrett Regional Medical Center.
Born on October 27, 1938 in West Virginia, Evidene was the daughter of the late Loyd Calvin and Vecie (Ware) Spinks.
Evidene spent several years working as a sales associate for Kmart in the Seaford, VA area. She enjoyed gardening in her spare time. She truly enjoyed spending time with and caring for her grandsons.
Evidene is survived by her two children, Harry G. Swauger, III and wife Claire of McHenry and Sandra Upton of Taft, TN; her grandsons, Jacob and Justin Swauger; a sister, Peggy Anthony of Poquoson, VA; two brothers, Jim Spinks and Bobby Spinks of Edgewood, MD.
In addition to her parents, Evidene was preceded in death by her husband, Harry G. Swauger, Jr.
In accordance with her wishes, Evidene's body will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland.
The family would like to thank Evidene's caregivers, Kim Oriendorf and Vanessa Yoder, for the love and compassion shown to their mother.
