Evelyn Reams

Evelyn Esther Reams, 83, of Oakland, died on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home. Born on December 7, 1929 in Cadiz, OH, she was the daughter of the late Bert C. and Eunice (Smith) Ream. Evelyn was a homemaker and a member of the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren. She is survived by two sons, Carlton Henry Reams and Gary Reams, both of Swallow Falls, Oakland; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren; a sister, Naomi Fisher of Augusta, WV; a brother, William "Bill" Ream of Oakland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Reams in 2008; a sister, Alice Hershman; and a brother, Tom Ream. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St., Oakland on Friday, September 13th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren on Saturday, September 14th at 1 PM with Rev. Lee Reams and Rev. Don Matthews officiating.
