Evelyn Georg

Evelyn Georg, 92, of Oakland, died on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Peace Healthcare Dennett Road Manor. Born on July 8, 1931, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of the late John Webster and and Grace Taresa (Sanders) Auman.

She was a graduate of Oakland High School and worked as a nursing assistant and Garrett Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Accident. In addition to spending time with her family, Evelyn enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, going for drives, BINGO, visiting friends and spending time at the Senior Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Grace Hauser and husband Jack A. of Oakland; her grandchildren, Jarrod Allen Hauser of Grantsville and Jamie Matthew Hauser and wife Cindy (Sanders) of Oakland; and a great grandson, Marshall Walker Hauser of Oakland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick F. Georg, who died in 2000; a great grandson, Walker Van Hauser; and siblings, John Kenneth Auman and Eileen Lois Higgs and husband Leslie.

Friends will be received at the Zion Lutheran Church, 209 N Main St., Accident, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 12 to 1 PM. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM with Pastor James A. Oester officiating.

Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Accident.
