Evangeline Mae Waybright, 89, of Davis, WV died November 18, 2013 at Cortland Acres.
She was born January 20, 1924 in Davis, a daughter of the late Charles Frank and Helen Sara Lahman Popish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Waybright, 2 sisters, Mae Popish and Alvinia Schwab and 1 brother, Charlie Popish. Survivors include 2 brothers, David Popish, Leesburg, VA and Pat Popish, College Park, MD, 4 sisters, Mary Behler, Bailey, MI, Dora Thomas, Laplata, MD, Ruby Dix, Davis, WV and Cecelia Norwood, Sharpsburg, MD and several nieces and nephews.
"Jean" was owner and operator of the Davis Dairy King for 50 years. She was a Jehovah witness by faith.
At the request of the deceased she was cremated. A private burial will be held at the Davis Cemetery at a later date. Hinkle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
