Evalyn McBee

Evalyn Leona (Clark) McBee, 105, of Loch Lynn passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016, at the Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home. Born on May 24, 1911 in Berkeley Springs, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Perkins and Ethel (Michaels) Clark. She had previously attended the Loch Lynn EUB Church. Mrs. McBee enjoyed spending time with her family and reading newspapers. She had lived in and care for her own home up until a short time ago. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth G. McBee of Odenton and J. Leo McBee of Oakland; four grandchildren, Kenny McBee, Steve McBee and wife Betsy, Michele Lewis and husband Ed, and Gwen Evans and husband Mel; great grandchildren, Heather Stauder, Jennifer Moheiser, Eddie Lewis, Kate Mitchell, Shelby Mitchell, Brianna Evans and Bethany Evans; great great grandchildren, Eve, Nate, Thomas and Steven; two sisters, Della Johnson of Berkeley Spring, WV and Kathryn Kesecker of Shelby, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Glenwood McBee; grandchildren, Kim McBee and Jimmy McBee; brothers, Norman Clark and Boyd Clark; a sister, Elsie Yost; and a daughter in law, Patricia McBee. Friends will be received at the C & S FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 21 N 2nd, Oakland on Sunday, October 2nd from 1 to 4 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, October 3rd at 11 AM with Pastor Ed Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Rescue Squad, PO Box 378, Oakland, MD 21550.
