Erroll Pessini

Erroll Jean Pessini, 71, of Oakland died on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at her home. Born on October 11, 1943 in Harlan, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Margaret (McVey) Lay. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served as a medic. Erroll also completed nurse's training and worked as an LPN. Her hobbies included wing walking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Thomas Stephen Pessini; daughters, Tina Marie Husak and Ronda Jo Buddemeyer Worley; step-daughters, Kimberly Marie Pessini and partner Linda Perez, Melissa Simone Kutz, Amy Michelle Dougherty and husband Patrick, and Tammy Jo Pessini; a grandson, Samual Joseph McVey; step-grandsons, Nathan Thomas Parsons, Brian Mark Pessini and Chaz Thomas Kutz; step-granddaughters, Kylie Simone Kutz, Melanie JoAnn Burns, Sydney Jollene Kutz and Casey Rose Burns; sisters, Barbara Sue Pope, Edna Marie Anderson and Nancy Jo Guidaboni; brothers, Ronald Henry Lay and Mont Mac Lay; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Lou Persiano and a nephew, Tony Guidaboni. According to her wishes, Erroll was cremated and will be memorialized by her family at a later time.
