Erma Hauser

Erma Marie Hauser, 81, of Oakland went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family. Born on October 10, 1932 in Vindex, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Franklin and Lucy Ellen (Sims) Beeman. She was a homemaker, custodian of Red House School and a member of the Terra Alta Assembly of God. She is survived by two sons, Ron Hauser and John Hauser, both of Oakland; four daughters, Evelyn Durst of Vernon, FL, Dottie Sweitzer of Oakand, Linda Gift of Mt. Lake Park and Carol Sue Kisner of Accident; fourteen grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lee Hauser, in 1980; two brothers, Edgar Beeman and an infant brother; and two sisters, Mildred Sweitzer and Dessie Broadwater. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Thursday, December 26th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and on Friday, December 27th from 9 to 10 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Paul Goldizen officiating. Interment will follow in the Deer Park Cemetery.
