Emma Hight

Emma Loraine (Clark) Hight, 79, of Mt. Storm, died on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Dennett Road Nursing Home. Born on February 3, 1937 in Brazoria County, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Charles D. and Clara A. (Jones) Clark. Emma dedicated her time to her family as she was a wonderful homemaker. She cared for her "outdoor critters", feeding wild birds, chipmunks and deer. Emma was also a member of the Mt. Storm Presbyterian Church. She was a radiant spirit who touched everyone in her path. Emma was love by all and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Emma is survived by her three children, Cindy Robinette of Morgantown, Joni Arbogast and husband Johnny of Morgantown and Denver "Charlie" Hight, Jr. of Mt. Storm; grandchildren, Rachel Robinette of Morgantown, Aaron Foltz of Sistersville, Dana (Foltz) Eyler and husband Steven of Bayard, Lisa (Robinette) Harvey and husband Clinton of Oakland and Christopher Robinette of Morgantown; great grandchildren, Sorren, Jocelyn, Aryeh, Marylin and Randalyn. In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Denver L. Hight in 2008 and a brother, Leon Clark. Friends will be received at the C & S FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St., Oakland on Thursday, January 5th from 3 to 7 PM and also at the Mt. Storm Presbyterian Church on Friday, January 6th from 10 to 11 AM after which time a funeral service will be held. Interment will be in the Mt. Storm Cemetery.
